Lead Facilitators

 

Thandile Giyama

Thandile Giyama is a South African PYE facilitator with more than 5 years experience in creative facilitation. He studiyed Child and Youth Care Working course with Afrika Tikkun under National Association for Child Care Workers. He then started to work in this organization as a Life Skills facilitator for their after school program. Since then, he has worked with youth and children with impaired backgrounds in his community to teach them life skills through exciting activities from an international curriculum named, Overcoming Obstacles and other trainings and youth camps.

 

 

 
 

Theophillus Booi

Theophilus Booi is from Cape Town, South Africa. He has been facilitator for 5 years. He has worked with a few of the organizations in Cape Town namely Afrika Tikkun for 3 years were he was first introduced to the Creative Community Model,  at a training lead by Charlie Murphy. While at Afrika Tikkun he had also worked as a child and youth care worker. Then went to work with anothe rorganization named Lalela that works with the arts to empower youth and then he worked in two of South Africa most disadvantaged communities, Happy Valley and Mfuleni.
