Satisfy My Bowl Launches in London
We’re so excited to be partnering with Ben & Jerry’s and the 1Love Foundation as part of the 30th anniversary of Bob Marley’s Legend album. Ben & Jerry’s, 1Love and PYE will partner with Jamaica’s leading youth serving organizations to activate the creative power of Jamaican youth and continue Bob’s legacy of a more integrated and peaceful world – going back to his roots.
Ben & Jerry’s have created a new special edition flavor called ‘Satisfy my Bowl’ in honor of the music icon and to lend its voice to a vision for peace, love and social justice. Proceeds from the special edition will allow PYE and 1Love to partner with local youth serving organizations in Jamaica, bringing our arts empowerment work to local youth.
To celebrate the partnership we’re asking: How has Bob Marley inspired you? Join the conversation on our Facebook page for a chance to win one of 20 tubs of Satisfy My Bowl.
The new flavor was launched last night in London at the #LegendSession, bringing together young musicians from across genres to celebrate and pay tribute to Bob Marley with their own takes on the ‘Legend’-ary tracks. Emerging artists across the UK were invited to submit their track and have the chance to appear live on stage next to renowned reggae advocate, BBC DJ and the man who premiered ‘Could You be Loved’, Sir David Rodigan MBE.
The event was attended by several bloggers, journalists and young representatives from the 1Love foundation.

The young talent on show, selected by a panel that includes a member of the Marley family, stirred up their own take on some of Marley’s most iconic songs, whilst being amongst the first to have a taste of the new ice cream flavor. You can listen to some of the tracks here:
