What an incredible year…

This year over 2000 youth workers and educators from over 500 organizations in 9 countries were trained in PYE’s Creative Community Model. With our partners we touched the lives of over 200,000 youth with transformative programs that empower them to become compassionate and confident leaders.

October 2013: Brazilian youth speaks
In September we ran our second youth camp on the beautiful grounds of an Agrifirma farm in Western Bahia, Brazil. On returning home Alesson Santos Oliveira who had attended the camp was asked to write about his experiences. Read what he said.

June 2013: Unleashing the creative power of young people in rural South Africa
Continuing our work in South Africa, this April PYE Lead Facilitators Nadia Chaney, Justin Silbaugh and Xola Yoyo (founder of Imithayelanga Youth Development) ran a training program for a group of young people who are in the process of becoming community leaders.
